Katie Bunch built this dog feeding station using an old dresser she found at a thrift store plus some plywood and paint. She estimates the cost at around $35.00. It took her a little under 5 hours to complete the project.

We found this DIY project of the The Owner Builder Network blog. It looks as if it could keep dogs amused for hours. (provided they don’t decide to chew through the plastic bottles) The game is fairly inexpensive to make.

This design was found in an article called 40+ Dog Bed Ideas on the 101 pallet ideas blog. It is shown here made from new timber, but as with most of the ideas in the article they can be made from pallets or new timber.

Paw Print Christmas Ornament

Salt dough, the old craft favorite was used to make this Christmas decoration which can be used year after year. The ingredients are salt, flour and water. When the dough is made and you have got your pet’s footprint imprinted you can decorate it with any color scheme.

As well as protecting your car seat, This car seat cover for dogs prevents the dog falling on the floor in the event of a sudden stop. It comes from an article on the Ex Scapes blog where they are selling a downloadable pattern for $10.00. They say you can make it for around $30.00 which compares favourably to similar products which sell for up to $100.00.

We think this is a really great idea. You end up with a dog bed which is an attractive piece of furniture rather than just an untidy mess in the corner.
